See for yourself the difference MegaScenery makes to Flight Simulator 2004. We've taken screenshots from identical
positions with MegaScenery turned off and then turned on. We think you'll agree that the difference is incredible.
PALM SPRINGS - CALIFORNIA
Pictured below is default FS2004 scenery for the mountains West of Palm Springs. Generic repeating tiles, crude
elevation data.

Pictured below is Palm Springs - MegaScenery style. The exact same view as the picture above. It's an actual
satellite image of the area! This mountain shown is Mt San Jacinto and the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation. Note the
"down-to-the-crevice" detail of the mountain not to mention the streets and roads of Palm Springs..

BIG BEAR CITY & BIG BEAR LAKE - CALIFORNIA
Pictured below is default FS2004 scenery. Generic repeating tiles, crude elevation data. Synthetic roads, "carved"
shoreline. No city detail.

Pictured below is Big Bear City and Big Bear Lake - MegaScenery style and as you'd see it from the air in the
real world. And as for the water in Big Bear Lake down there..... YES you CAN land on it! And as the locals say, When
you're in Big Bear City... watch out for the big bear!

VAN NUYS - CALIFORNIA (Looking down towards Santa Monica)
Pictured below is Van Nuys with default FS2004 scenery. Generic "urban" repeating textures. Crudely formed lake.
Unrealistic.

Pictured below is Van Nuys - MegaScenery style and as you'd see it from the air in the real world. To the left is
I-405 running north-south. At the end of the runway are 3 golf courses - Van Nuys (northernmost) and Balboa and Encino
(southmost). To the southeast is Encino Reservoir. Behind it is Topanga State Park. To the east of Topanga is the famous
"Beverly Hills". Pick out anything else you might know in the area.

SAN DIEGO - CALIFORNIA (Night Scenery)
Pictured below is San Diego at night with default FS2004 scenery. Random looking generic "urban" night repeating
textures. Unrealistic.

Pictured below is San Diego at night - MegaScenery Style. MegaScenery gives you "real" night scenery based on
actual roads and streets. It is created using an advanced proprietary algorithm. Shown here we're over the top of Chula
Vista. The road coming out of the bottom of the image is I-805 which runs north-south and behind it is I-5
(north-south). the black area behind I-5 is San Diego Bay and the lighted area Coronado. It doesn't get much more real
than this!. Fly "NIGHT VFR" with MegaScenery!
