• FS2Crew: Cessna 172 Edition for the Flight1 C172R and Default C172 is the first release in the new FS2CrewLite product line. Essentially, the 172 version is the "Little Brother" of the 737 version of FS2Crew, and is much simpler to operate and learn.
• If you do not own the Flight1 172, you can still use this version with your Default 172 that comes with FS2004.
• The FS2CrewLite series is meant for GA simmers who want to make their GA flights all that much more real and immersive. Basically the FS2CrewLite series recreates the total "Weekend Warrior" experience. Accurate checklists, passengers in the back seat, communications with your FBO and your flying school or club, even passengers briefs appropriate to real-world GA flying, these things and more are all included.
• If you're brave enough to fly your little single into the soup, you'll be happy to know that a full range of IFR callouts are also incorporated such as the T checks (Turn, Time, Throttle, Tune, Talk) to help you fly IFR properly. Even the WxCAAP sequence is included to help add structure to your IFR flights.
• Easy to learn. The average user should be able to learn the 172 version of FS2Crew in a single flight. Mega detail. As with all version of FS2Crew, detail is is central. The 172 version was custom coded from the ground up to ensure that everything is 172 specific and appropriate to the world of GA flying. To give you a sense of the detail incorporated, there is even a random chance you can accidentally activate your ELT if you land too hard.
• Interactive passengers! Not only can you talk to your virtual passengers, but you can also brief them for the flight. You can even brief them for a non-normal situation like a Forced or Precautionary Landing or even a Diversion.
• Communications with your local FBO and Flying School or Club are included. You can even set the frequency for you FBO or Flying School so it matches the frequency used at your airport in the real world.
