The Merida International Airport (MMMD) is an international airport located in the Merida City, state of Yucatan, Mexico. The airport is in the southern part of the city and is one of the four airports in Mexico that has a center air space under their own control. The airport has national and international flights. MMMD can receive big aircrafts, such as Boeing B747 and B777, but the most usual aircrafts are small to medium in size. The most common aircrafts are A320 and B737. Mérida International Airport is the eighth busiest airport in Mexico by passenger traffic.
