Chicago Landmarks MSFS is a highly detailed scenery of Chicago, Illinois. It has about 2,000 custom-made items and many interesting places to visit in the city. Everything in downtown has been custom built. There are a lot of marinas, railyards, bridges, and stadiums, all of which are in full PBR and have great night textures. There are also pictures of 17 heliports that can be landed on. The product works well with photogrammetry by default.

Chicago is the most populated city in Illinois and the third most populated city in the United States. It is the third most populous city in the United States, after New York and Los Angeles, with an estimated population of 2,716,450 in 2017. With almost 10 million people, the metropolitan area is the third-largest in the world by land area.

Chicago is a center for finance, culture, business, industry, technology, communications, and transportation on a global scale. It is where the first standardized futures contracts were made at the Chicago Board of Trade. Today, the Chicago Board of Trade is the largest and most diverse derivatives market in the world, making up 20% of all commodities and financial futures trades. O'Hare International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. The area also has the most highways and the most railroad freight in the United States. In 2012, the Globalization and World Cities Research Network named Chicago an alpha global city. In the 2017 Global Cities Index, Chicago was ranked as the seventh best city in the world. In 2017, the Chicago area had one of the world's highest gross domestic products, at $680 billion. The city also has one of the most balanced and diversified economies in the world. It is not dependent on any one industry.

The name "Chicago" comes from a French version of the native Miami-Illinois word "shikaakwa," which means a wild onion-like plant known as "ramps" to botanists and "chicago" to most people. In a memoir around 1679, Robert de LaSalle wrote in a memoir that the area where Chicago is now was called "Checagou." This was the first time that anyone knew of. Chicago has been called a lot of different things, but the "Windy City" is the one that most people know.
