Renton Municipal Airport (IATA: RNT, ICAO: KRNT, FAA LID: RNT) is a public-use airport in Renton, King County, Washington, USA. In 2005, the airport was renamed Clayton Scott Field. Lake Washington and the Will Rogers–Wiley Post Memorial Seaplane Base form the airport's northern boundary. Renton Airport has a floating dock and a launching ramp to facilitate the transition from wheeled landings to water takeoffs and landings. The airport is owned by the City of Renton and serves Renton and other nearby communities as a general aviation airport. It offers air charter, air taxi, and corporate, business, and recreational flyers regional aviation services. It is designated as a regional reliever facility in the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021. The airport is 12 miles southeast of downtown Seattle, near the south end of Lake Washington. US Customs can assist both floatplanes and planes with wheels arriving by water or land.

Renton Airport is located next to the Boeing Renton Factory and serves as the first point of departure for aircraft produced at that location. The Renton, Washington Factory of the Boeing Company manufactures the 737 MAX 7, 737 MAX 8, 737 MAX 9, and 737 MAX 10 models. The total floor area is 1.1 million square feet (102,000 square meters). The Boeing Renton Factory is built on land that was reclaimed after Lake Washington was lowered in 1916. It was owned by the family of pioneer Washington coal industrialist Charles H. Burnett, after whom Renton's Burnett Avenue and Burnett Park are named. Burnett purchased the land with the intention of using it for coal storage and shipment. Amy Louise Burnett Bond, Charles Burnett's daughter, whose mother died when she was young, was raised as Bertha Potter's foster sister and godmother by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cranston Potter (Mrs. William Boeing). The Burnetts ran a hay farm on the property. Amy Burnett Bond returned the property to the state government in 1936. It remained mostly semi-swamp, economically marginal, and would require millions of dollars to improve.

The property was then transferred to the federal government by the state of Washington at the outbreak of World War II. The Navy Department established a factory there to manufacture the Boeing PBB Sea Ranger flying boat. However, this order was canceled to free up the factory for the production of the Boeing B-29 Superfortress. In exchange for the use of the North American Aviation Kansas City factory for the production of land-based North American B-25 Mitchells for the US Marine Corps as PBJ-1s, the factory was transferred to the Army.

The following aircraft were built at the Boeing Renton Factory: B-29 (>1000), C-97 (1000), Boeing 707/KC-135 (>1000), Boeing 727 (almost 2000), Boeing 737 (11000 and growing), Boeing 747 (3 refurbished), and Boeing 757 (>1000).

Renton Municipal Airport spans 170 acres (69 ha) and is located at an elevation of 32 feet (9.8 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway, designated 16/34, with a 5,382 by 200-foot asphalt and concrete surface (1,640 m x 61 m). In 2016, the airport had 122,908 aircraft operations, an average of 337 per day: 98 percent general aviation, 1% air taxi, 1% scheduled commercial, and 1% military. This airport had 337 aircraft based there in July 2017: 243 single-engine, 13 multi-engine, 4 jets, and 8 helicopters.
