The Vancouver International Airport (IATA: YVR, ICAO: CYVR) is located in Richmond, British Columbia. It is 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from downtown Vancouver. It is Canada's second busiest airport in terms of aircraft movements (306,799) and passenger traffic (25.9 million), trailing only Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The popular FSDT CYVR scenery has been updated for MSFS 2020.
Starting with the FSX version we released in 2013, this scenery has been converted to MSFS 2020. However, this is not a "straight" conversion, and many changes have been made, both to accommodate the changing airport layout and to offer specific MSFS features when possible. The scenery now corresponds to the airport as it will be in 2020.

The airport design has been revised. Along with the new extension (Pier A, Gates 1–12), a completely new section of the main terminal (Pier B, Gates 11–28) has been modeled.

Pier D of the Main Terminal was extended, complete with interiors.

All parking spot positions and numbers have been updated to correspond with the current 2020 charts.

All textures and materials have been enhanced and converted to PBR, with additional normal map details and metallic/roughness maps.

Dynamic lighting has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, utilizing the native MSFS 2020 lighting system and hundreds of individual light sources.

The background photoreal image now includes changes to Piers A and B of the Main Terminal.

All Aprons materials have been recreated using the MSFS system.

The native MSFS system was used to recreate all 3D taxi-light fixtures.

The runways now have the proper slope profile.

The Jetways have been rebuilt using the most recent MSFS 2020 SDK.
