Following on from their popular Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer and PA-28 family of aircraft for MSFS, Just Flight's in-house team has created a highly detailed simulation of the 146 regional jet based on extensive, hands-on research with a real-world aircraft, G-JEAO, which retired from service with British European Airways in 2000 and is now preserved at the de Havilland Aircraft Museum, and the Royal Air Force's CC.Mk2 and C.Mk3 aircraft, 32 (The Royal) Squadron.

Just Flight is proud to present the 146 'Whisper Jet,' which includes models from the 100, 200, and 300 series of this classic British airliner. The iconic high T-tail, short undercarriage, four engines, and distinctive airbrake were chosen to produce a regional airliner with short-field performance and quiet operation during the design process of what would become the 146-100 under Hawker Siddeley in 1973. In 1981, the 146-100 was the first aircraft to fly, followed by the stretched 200 series in 1982 and the 300 series in 1988.

The Queen's Flight operated three 146-100s, designated the CC.Mk2 'Statesman' and equipped with VIP cabins, which were purchased by the Royal Air Force in 1986. The planes were used to transport members of the British royal family as well as senior military and government officials.

Due to its excellent capacity and low engine noise, the 146 was also popular with cargo operators, allowing for night flights into city airports. The convertible passenger and freight variant (QC) and the freight-only Quiet Trader were developed as cargo variants (QT). The Royal Air Force also had two C.Mk3-designated 200QC aircraft.

The 100-300 passenger versions, the 200QC and QT, the 300 QT, and the RAF CC.Mk2 "Statesman" and C.Mk3 versions are all included in this product. These versions come in a variety of configurations, ranges, and flight operations that can be used all over the world. The exterior models are extremely detailed, with 8K and 4K textures for exceptional clarity and the latest Physical Based Rendering (PBR) material technology for realistic metallic, plastic, and glass surfaces. Trailing-edge flap mechanisms, spoilers, a large tail-mounted airbrake, and all passenger and cargo doors are all animated realistically.

Hundreds of functional switches, knobs, and controls are modeled in the cockpit for the Captain and First Officer positions. The aircraft is equipped with a functional Thrust Management System (TMS) and comprehensive navigation equipment, which includes an FMS, as well as complex custom-coded systems based on real-world FCOMs, such as hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and pressurisation.

The planes come to life with immersive dynamic lighting and 3D Wwise sounds, as well as custom effects like condensation, contrails, and realistic lighting on the outside, as well as different flight dynamics for each model.

Over 30 airline liveries from the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, and Australia are included, bringing you many iconic airlines and paint schemes.

New features - the 146 Professional has been available for some time in both Prepar3D and X-Plane 11, but the aircraft has undergone an extensive upgrade process to bring it up to the latest MSFS standards, with a significant number of changes to both the visuals and the aircraft systems.
