The story of Commercial aviation in Bolivia starts in Cochabamba in 1925. It began with the incorporation of LAB (Lloyd Aero Boliviano) by A. Guillermo Kyllman. Since then aviation became the most important way to travel in the country. Todaythere are dozens of airports and airfields all over the mountains, valleys, jungles,rivers, and lakes of this landlocked country. Many of them are grass and dirt airfields whereonly experienced bush pilots dare to fly.
